It gets dark pretty fast now
My mittens are out
My boots are warm and cozy
I get excited this time of year
But this year I am putting my christmas excitement on hold
Instead I am trying and willing myself to enjoy winter
So far it's working
I think at least half the reason I am enjoying it is Bentley
He forces us to take an hour walk everyday
Even in the bitter cold
But I get to see and hear stillness
I am surrounded by nature
I see the sun rise and set
I enjoy it
Grateful that we got our little, "big" puppy!
